The Plastic Tableware of Damocles
The Plastic Tableware of Damocles was one of my first plastic
tableware pieces. It consists of 180 knives in black, white, and silver.
It was my first attempt for the knife part of the mobile
No Picnic. Although I like the form, it has some engineering weaknesses,
so I redesigned it considerably to improve its strength. The final version,
visible in the mobile is more spherical than star-like.
The name hit me when it was hanging over my desk by a thread...
