There is holography representing "change in quality"
in metamorphoses. Holography does not change shapes but changes quality.
It has an unexpected effect where a solid and a concrete object which appears
to be able to be touched and is transformed into a three-dimensional image
which is a chunk of lights which can not be grasped. This is a change in
the material and colors, and a magical metamorphosis by optical interference.
