A different experiment can be made if the inside of the cylinder is used as a mirror using the same mirror cylinder.

The figure on the next page is the image of the figure reflected on the "inside" of an aluminum cylinder. Small pieces of colored cellophane torn away are reflected onto the concave curved surface mirror, and it generated an unexpected distorted image.
