(3) Vibration, curves, and others When a diagram appears to be vibrating by some treatment on configuration, we feel movement there (Fig. 475). Movement is also sometimes felt on a shape with a sharp edge like an arrow, a smooth curved line, and a sharp straight line drawn horizontally. There are artists of optical arts who set a major
purpose to create dazzlement of eyes using strong sight effects. There
are some works of these artists which give us a feeling as if our eyes
become blind using fine drawings when we are watching still. When we are
observing these works, we feel illusions from the surfaces and internal
parts of the works every time we blink. A high level of expressions of
movement is applied using sight of illusions.
