(3) Shapes concentrating toward a point

There are many cases in which groups of lines and points concentrating towards a point not only provide low/high density parts on a plane but also have a suggestion of perspective. Therefore, a strong perspective illusion can be composed using these. (Please refer to Part 1 of Section 3, 1-Various arrangements, (4) Focusing arrangement)

A KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) using perspective or a similar technique sometimes expresses the strongest feeling of perspective or a feeling of strong movement at the same time.
 
 

(4) Radial lines

Radial lines have a modeling effect similar to perspective. Therefore, they are convenient for three-dimensional expressions such as cubic effect and perspective.

Such radial lines are combined to compose various cubic effects as shown in Figures 395 and 396 below.
