· An unexpected shape of interspace is attained from the ring-shaped arrangement using the new unit which is a combined form of simple units (Figs. 167, 168). Conversely, a plain ring-shaped structure appears
when making a circle by simple units with a side of each arrow touching
the next one. If it seems monotonous, then try grouping on a larger scale
via the repetition of the multiplex operation in which the simple ring-shaped
structure becomes a new unit (Fig. 169). The interspaces, however, then
gets complicated.
