(2) Multiplying compositions using a new unit

Another important issue (as important as the decision of units) is the study of KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) methods as mentioned before.

These are roughly divided into regular and random KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design). Random KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) is a way of arranging units not restricted by rules. Depending only on the sense of balance, it is too vague a matter to be taken up as a study of KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design) methods. So here, let us discuss the latter, in which units are arranged with mathematical order.

Among the three ways of the arrangement of units, overlap · osculate · separate, I use only osculate here to limit the scope of the matter.

Besides, I would like to regard the shapes which are the combination of A1, A2, like those collected up until page 98, as new units, and use them for KOHSEI (Basic Art & Design).
